摘要: The present invention relates to a wiper rubber (10) for a windshield wiper, comprising a wiper rubber substructure (1) with a wiper lip section (2) and a reinforcement section (4), the wiper rubber substructure (1) being uncoated and being formed from ethylene-propylene-diene rubber and/or ethylene-propylene rubber. In order to improve the wear resistance, wiping characteristics and wiping quality of the wiper rubber (10), the surface of the wiper rubber substructure (1) at least in a partial region (2c, 2c′) of the wiper lip section (2) has been treated with ultraviolet radiation. The present invention further relates to a process for producing a wiper rubber, to a correspondingly produced wiper rubber and to a windshield wiper equipped therewith.

摘要: A system and method for producing customized items is provided. The system includes a computer interface, an extruder and a mold supported by a movable support unit, all in communication with a control unit. The extruder and support unit are activatable by the control unit to produce a customized item in accordance with the shape of the mold and design parameters associated with the customized item onto the mold. The extruder may be configured to be movable and to extrude material having elastic properties onto the mold in a single continuous extrusion.

摘要: The present invention is a method for manufacturing inflatable bladders for use in articles of manufacture. The method includes the steps of providing a first polymer film, applying a curable release coating to the polymer film in a pattern that corresponds to the configuration of the inflatable bladder, curing the release coating to the first polymer film, providing a second polymer film with the first polymer film to form a layered element such that the release coating is disposed between the polymer films, positioning the layered element between two plies of material, applying heat and pressure to adhere the polymer films together except in the area where the release coating has been applied to form an inflatable compartment surrounded by a sealed perimeter, and removing the plies of material from the adhered first and second polymer films.

摘要: A method for joining a first sheet (10) to a second sheet (11) includes providing a first rigid plate (6); providing a gas absorbing layer on the first rigid plate; positioning the first sheet, the first sheet has at least a first layer (52) and a second layer (54), on the gas absorbing layer (8); positioning the second sheet, wherein the second sheet has at least a first layer and a second layer, on the gas absorbing layer; wherein an edge of the of the first sheet abuts an edge of the second sheet; placing a second rigid plate on top of the first and second sheet; wherein the second rigid plate is transparent; applying pressure to the first sheet edge and second sheet edge; and laser welding the edge of the first sheet to the edge of the second sheet with a first laser through the second rigid plate.

摘要: A weather strip includes an extrusion molded extrusion molded portion, an injection molded portion which connects both ends of the extrusion molded portions in a straight line shape, a trim portion which is mounted on a circumferential edge of an opening of a luggage compartment, and a hollow sealing portion which protrudes from the trim portion. The injection molded portion is formed such that a width thereof is 2.0. The hollow sealing portion is provided with a core withdrawing hole, through which a core mold forming an inner peripheral surface of the hollow sealing portion is withdrawn after formation. The core withdrawing hole is formed such that a length thereof along a circumferential direction of the inner peripheral surface of the hollow sealing portion is 40% of a circumferential length of the inner peripheral surface.

The forming structure has a plurality of discrete protruded elements and lands completely surrounding them. Pressure is provided between the compliant substrate and the forming structure to conform the precursor web to the forming structure to form the embossed web. The resulting embossed web has a plurality of discrete extended elements completely surrounded by land areas.
