Abstract:
Layered, and optionally dispersible fibrous structures containing fibrous elements that exhibit different physical characteristics, such as different average diameters as measured by the Average Diameter Test Method described herein, different surface characteristics, different lengths, different sources (naturally occurring versus non-naturally occurring and/or spun versus non-spun), sanitary tissue products employing such layered fibrous structures, and methods for making same are provided.
Abstract:
Fibrous structures that exhibit improved surface properties, for example lower Force to Drag Values as measured by the Glide on Skin Test Method described herein, compared to known fibrous structures, sanitary tissue products comprising such fibrous structures and method for making such fibrous structures are provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a sheets processing system for producing a flat laminated printed item. The system includes a sheet feeding station to feed printed sheets (12) to a laminating station, the laminating station to adhere a laminating material to the printed sheets (12), and a base item application station to apply a base item to the printed sheets (12) being laminated. The system additionally includes a platform to accommodate the sheet feeding station, the laminating station, the base item application station, and a transport roller station, all aligned in a substantially straight line. The system further includes a transport roller station to transport along the platform at least a section of the printed sheets (12) being laminated which is a part of the flat laminated printed item.
Abstract:
A multi-layer sheet for use with a three-dimensional printer platform includes an intermediate layer, a polymer receptive coating disposed on one side of the intermediate layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on an opposite side of the intermediate layer. The three-dimensional printer includes a platform, a printer head that deposits material to form a product while at least one of the platform and printer head are moved. The multi-layer is sheet disposed on the platform upon which the product is formed with the product formed on the polymer receptive coating, and the pressure sensitive adhesive contacting the platform.
Abstract:
The diaphragm has a paper base layer and a papermaking layer. The papermaking layer is formed on a surface of the paper base layer. The paper base layer contains natural fibers and thermoplastic resin, and is formed by a papermaking process with a mixture of the natural fibers and the resin. The papermaking layer, contains fibers each having a tensile elastic modulus of 150 GPa or greater, and is formed by a papermaking process with the fibers.
Abstract:
Protection barriers, such as floor protection barriers, and methods for making and using same. The protection barrier can include a base sheet and an energy absorbing layer. The base sheet can have two or more paperboard layers and one or more sizing layers. A first paperboard layer can form a first surface of the base sheet, a second paperboard layer can form a second surface of the base sheet, and the one or more sizing layers can be disposed between the first and second paperboard layers. The energy absorbing layer can be secured to the second paperboard layer.
Abstract:
A seaming tape for joining pieces of floor-covering together, such as carpet or resilient floor covering material, and a method for using the same to join adjacent pieces of planar material is provided. The seaming tape can include an upper mesh tape portion and a lower blocking tape portion that is narrower in width than the mesh tape portion. The mesh tape portion can further include a pressure-sensitive adhesive to hold the blocking tape portion in position.
Abstract:
A wallboard panel is provided, including a sheet of face paper, a first layer of gypsum composition having a first density, a web of mesh associated with the first layer of gypsum composition, a second layer of gypsum composition having a second density, the second density being lower than the first density, and a layer of backing paper. An associated method includes providing a sheet of face paper and laying same upon a moving conveyor belt, applying a first layer of gypsum composition slurry upon the sheet of face paper, applying a web of mesh upon the first layer of gypsum composition slurry, applying a second layer of gypsum composition slurry upon the web of mesh, and applying a sheet of backing paper upon the second layer of gypsum composition slurry.
Abstract:
A method is provided for the production of structural cylinder with a wound material shell, the method comprising: providing a extruded wood core cylinder; wrapping a flexible material about an exterior surface of the cylinder; applying an adhesive between the interior of the material and the exterior profile of the core; allowing the adhesive to cure providing a structural cylinder with a wrapped material exterior.
Abstract:
