摘要: A cylindrical shrink label is provided with a heat-shrinkable label base material; and a joint formed by cylindrically forming the label base material so that the edges thereof overlap, and then solvent welding the inner surface of the outside edge, which is positioned on the outside of the cylinder, and the outer surface of the inside edge, which is positioned on the inside of the cylinder. A resin layer, which is soluble in a hot alkaline aqueous solution, is formed on the abovementioned inner surface and/or the abovementioned outer surface, which form the joint.

摘要: A switch contact element, having a layered structure comprising three layers: the bottom layer is silicone rubber, the middle layer is a continuous base metal sheet layer, and the upper layer is a discontinuous (stripe-shaped, raised-point-shaped or lattice-shaped) precious metal plated layer or a double-metal composite layer of a discontinuous base metal plated layer and a precious metal plated layer. The thickness of the bottom layer is greater than that of the middle layer, the thickness of the middle layer is greater than that of the upper layer, and the thickness of the upper layer meets the conditions that the conductive current is greater than safe current of conductive contacts on a circuit board, and the service life of a switch for the design is ensured.

摘要: A method for improving the heat sealability of a packaging material and a method for manufacturing a heat-sealed container or package are described. The material can be polymer-coated packaging paper or cardboard, or a polymeric packaging film. The material includes a polymer layer that contains polyester, particularly polylactide, the heat sealability of which is improved by ultraviolet radiation. Polylactide is useful as such or when blended, for example, with other biodegradable polyester. The containers and packages thus manufactured include disposable drinking cups and cardboard carton and box packages.

摘要: A method of insert molding comprises placing in a first mold a curable rubber composition comprising a reactive species; placing on a surface of the rubber composition a first thermoplastic material in a film or layer comprising a group reactive with the reactive species of the rubber composition; curing the rubber composition in the mold to form a first molded article of cured rubber having a first thermoplastic material layer covalently bonded through reactive of the reactive species and the group; placing the first molded article as an insert into a second mold, the cured rubber contacting an inside surface of the second mold and the thermoplastic layer facing into the second mold cavity; closing the second mold and injecting into the second mold a second thermoplastic material that to form a second molded article comprising the first molded article thermally welded and/or covalently bonded to the second thermoplastic material.

摘要: Optical materials for optical devices are provided that comprise a plurality of hedgehog-shaped microparticles. Each hedgehog microparticle comprises a core region formed of a first material having a first refractive index and a plurality of needles connected to and substantially orthogonal to a surface of the core region. The needles comprise a second material having a second refractive index. The optical material enhances forward scattering of a predetermined wavelength of light, while suppressing backscattering of the predetermined wavelength of light. Methods of controlling transparency in an optical material comprising a plurality of hedgehog microparticles, while suppressing backscattering are also provided. Spectral tuning with use of such optical materials is also provided.

摘要: The invention relates to a heating element for a room in a building having a flat support which includes carbon nanotubes and a plurality of contacts, wherein the carbon nanotubes can be excited to infrared emission by connecting an electrical voltage to the contacts. The invention further relates to a method for producing such heating element, the support thereof being attached to a wall of the room. In order to simplify the heating element, according to the invention the support includes a flexible textile material in which the contacts are embedded and to which the carbon nanotubes are applied in an aqueous dispersion and the water is evaporated.
