摘要: A catalyst article for treating a flow of a combustion exhaust gas comprises: a catalytically active substrate comprising one or more channels extending along an axial length thereof through which, in use, a combustion exhaust gas flows, the one or more channels having a first surface for contacting a flow of combustion exhaust gas; wherein the substrate is formed of an extruded vanadium-containing SCR catalyst material, wherein a first layer is disposed on at least a portion of the first surface, wherein the first layer comprises a washcoat of an ammonia slip catalyst composition comprising one or more platinum group metals supported on a particulate metal oxide support material, and wherein a layer comprising a washcoat of SCR catalyst composition is disposed on a surface in the one or more channels, wherein at least the portion of the first surface on which the first layer is disposed comprises a compound of copper, iron, cerium or zirconium or a mixture of any two or more thereof.

The exhaust system comprises a particulate filter, one or more NOx reduction catalysts, and a low pressure exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) circuit for connecting the exhaust system downstream of the filter and the one or more NOx reduction catalysts to an intake of the engine. The EGR circuit comprises a N2O-producing catalyst.

摘要: SCR-active molecular-sieve based catalysts with improved low-temperature performance are made by heating a molecular-sieve in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with steam (hydrothermal treatment), or in a reducing atmosphere without steam (thermal treatment), at a temperature in the range of 600-900° C. for a time period from 5 minutes to two hours. The resulting SCR-active iron-containing molecular sieves exhibit a selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with NH3 or urea at 250° C. that is at least 50% greater than if the iron-containing molecular-sieve were calcined at 500° C. for two hours without performing the hydrothermal or thermal treatment.

摘要: A NOx trap catalyst is disclosed. The NOx trap catalyst comprises a noble metal, a NOx storage component, a support, and a first ceria-containing material. The first ceria-containing material is pre-aged prior to incorporation into the NOx trap catalyst, and may have a surface area of less than 80 m2/g. The invention also includes exhaust systems comprising the NOx trap catalyst, and a method for treating exhaust gas utilizing the NOx trap catalyst.

摘要: A catalyst article comprises an SCR catalyst and a NOx adsorber catalyst, where each of these catalysts comprise a metal molecular sieve, each with a different metal. The catalyst article can be close coupled with other components to give a NOX performance advantage from cold start to a combined DOC and SCRF system. Higher NOX conversion is also shown in under-floor location due to NOx storage before SCR light off and selective NH3 slip control, allowing higher NH3 fill levels. Systems comprising the catalyst article and methods of using the catalyst article to give improved hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide control, as well as ammonia slip control, are described. The systems can include flow-through or wall-flow monoliths.

摘要: Provided is a catalyst for the selective reduction of NOx comprising a two molecular sieve materials having a CHA structure, wherein the first molecular sieve has a mean crystal size of about 0.01 to 1 μm and the second molecular sieve has a mean crystal size of about 1-5 μm, and wherein the first molecular sieve contains a first extra-framework metal, the second molecular sieve contains a second extra-framework metal, and wherein said first and second extra-framework metals are independently selected from the group consisting of cesium, copper, nickel, zinc, iron, tin, tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt, bismuth, titanium, zirconium, antimony, manganese, chromium, vanadium, niobium, and combinations thereof.

摘要: A catalytic filter is provided having a mixture of an SCR catalyst and soot oxidation catalyst where the soot oxidation catalyst is a copper doped ceria, iron doped ceria or manganese doped ceria. The mixture of an SCR catalyst and soot oxidation catalyst provides for a lowering of the peak oxidation temperature for soot removal from the filter. The use of the filter allows for improved soot combustion and reduces the susceptibility of an SCR catalyst contained on a filter to deterioration. The soot oxidation catalyst also improves the resistance of the SCR catalyst to poisoning and subsequent deterioration of SCR performance.
