The present invention provides a dehydrogenation catalyst for converting a paraffin-based hydrocarbon having a carbon number of 3 or 4 into an olefin-based hydrocarbon via direct dehydrogenation, the dehydrogenation catalyst including a metal alloy (ZnO—Al2O3) carrier composed of alumina (Al2O3) and zinc oxide (ZnO), and an active metal and an auxiliary active metal which are carried by the metal alloy carrier.

摘要: An exhaust system for a diesel engine is disclosed. The exhaust system may include a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) configured to receive exhaust gases from the engine and oxidize hydrocarbons in the exhaust gases and a passive NOx adsorber (PNA) downstream from the DOC and configured to store NOx from the exhaust gases at temperatures up to 150° C. A selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system may be downstream from the PNA and configured to reduce NOx in the exhaust gases. The PNA may be configured to release the stored NOx at temperatures above 200° C. The DOC upstream of the PNA may reduce the amount of N2O that is generated by the PNA by oxidizing hydrocarbons before they reach the PNA.

摘要: The present invention provides a catalyst for producing hydrogen and a preparing method thereof. The method includes the steps of adding a first metal source, a second metal source, a third metal source and a cerium source into a first organic solvent containing a surfactant to form a colloidal mixture, wherein a metal of the first metal source is a Group IIIB metal; a metal of the second metal source is selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and Group IIIB metals, and a metal of the third metal source is a transition metal; calcining the colloidal mixture to form a metal solid solution; and allowing the metal solid solution to be carried on a carrier to obtain the catalyst. When the catalyst of the present invention is used for an ethanol oxidation reformation, the reaction temperature of the ethanol oxidation reformation can be significantly decreased. After the catalyst is used for long periods of time, the ethanol oxidation reformation still has high ethanol conversion ratio and hydrogen selection ratio.

摘要: A catalyst for the treatment of exhaust gas emissions is disclosed. The catalyst can comprise ceria-alumina particles having a ceria phase present in a weight percent of the composite in the range of about 20% to about 80% on an oxide basis, an alkaline earth metal component supported on the ceria-alumina particles, wherein the CeO2 is present in the form of crystallites that are hydrothermally stable and have an average crystallite size less than 160 Å after aging at 950° C. for 5 hours in 2% O2 and 10% steam in N2.

摘要: A zoned catalyzed substrate monolith comprises a first zone and a second zone that are arranged axially in series. The first zone comprises a platinum group metal loaded on a support and a first base metal oxide or a first base metal loaded on an inorganic oxide. The first base metal oxide is iron oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, nickel oxide, or mixtures thereof. The first base metal is iron, manganese, copper, zinc, nickel, or mixtures thereof. The second zone comprises copper or iron loaded on a zeolite and a second base metal oxide or a second base metal loaded on an inorganic oxide. The second base metal oxide is iron oxide, manganese oxide, copper oxide, zinc oxide, nickel oxide, or mixtures thereof. The second base metal is iron, manganese, copper, zinc, nickel, or mixtures thereof. The second base metal is different from the first base metal.

摘要: An oxidation catalyst includes a support including particles of an alkaline earth salt, and first particles including a palladium compound on the support. The oxidation catalyst can also include precious metal group (PMG) metal particles in addition to the first particles intermixed together on the support. A gas permeable polymer that provides a continuous phase can completely encapsulate the particles and the support. The oxidation catalyst may be used as a gas sensor, where the first particles are chemochromic particles.
