    摘要: A method forming a composite laminate structure includes providing first and second circuit board element each having circuitry on at least one face thereof and plated through holes. A voltage plane element is provided having at least one voltage plane having opposite faces with layers of partially cured photodielectric material on each face. At least one hole is photopatterned and etched through the voltage plane element but completely isolated from the voltage plane. Each through hole in the voltage plane element is aligned with a plated through hole in each of the circuit board elements to provide a surface on the voltage plane element communicating with the plated through holes. The voltage plane is laminated between the circuit board elements and the photoimageable material on the voltage plane is fully cured. The surfaces of the voltage plane element communicating with the plated through holes in the circuit board elements are plated with a conducting material to establish a connection between the circuitry on the first and second circuit board elements.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method of recovering a cyclic alkylene carbonate, such as propylene carbonate, from an effluent stream of a process in which the cyclic alkylene carbonate removes an organic photoresist material from a substrate. The effluent is a cyclic alkylene carbonate effluent, e.g., a propylene carbonate effluent, of the carbonate, water, and polymeric solids. In the recovery process the cyclic alkylene carbonate effluent is fed to a heat exchanger, and separated into (i) water and volatiles, and (ii) cyclic carbonate. This lowers the concentration of water in the cyclic alkylene carbonate to a level that is low enough to substantially avoid hydrolysis of cyclic alkylene carbonate to the corresponding glycol. The dewatered cyclic alkylene carbonate is evaporated to separate the cyclic alkylene carbonate from high boiling materials and polymeric solids. The dewatered cyclic alkylene carbonate is separated into (i) a cyclic alkylene carbonate fraction, and (ii) a photoresist solids fraction. The photoresist materials fractions contains photoresist material in the alkylene carbonate. The cyclic alkylene carbonate fraction is further separated in a fractionation means into a higher vapor pressure alkylene glycol fraction, and a lower vapor pressure alkylene carbonate fraction.

    摘要: A method, structure, and method of design relating an electrical structure that includes a metal voltage plane laminated to a dielectric substrate. A determination is made as to where to place an opening for venting gases generated during fabrication of the dielectric laminate. An identification is made of a problematic opening in the metal voltage plane that is above or below a corresponding metal signal line within the dielectric laminate, such that an image of a portion of the corresponding metal signal line projects across the problematic opening. An electrically conductive strip is positioned across the problematic opening, such that the strip includes the image. In fabrication, the dielectric substrate having the metal signal line therein is provided. The metal voltage plane is laminated to the dielectric substrate. The opening in the metal voltage plane is formed such that the strip is across the opening and includes the image.
