    摘要: Downflow catalytic reactor having a plurality of catalyst beds in which a mixture of gas and liquid are passed, the region in between subsequent catalyst beds being provided with a distributor system for the distribution and mixing of gas and liquid prior to contact with a subsequent catalyst bed, said region comprising: (a) gas injection line arranged below a catalyst support tray, (b) collector tray adapted to receive gas and liquid, (c) spillway collectors extending above the level of said collecting tray, (d) mixing chamber adapted to receive the gas and liquid descending from said spillway collectors, (e) impingement plate below said mixing chamber, (f) first distributor tray arranged below said impingement plate having a number of apertures throughout and a number chimneys, and (g) second distributor tray arranged below said first distributor tray for the redistribution of gas and liquid prior to contact with the subsequent catalyst bed, wherein the at least one chimney is provided with a distributor device that is able to divide the chimney chamber into at least two chambers.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for filling a chamber with a divided solid comprising a divided solid feeder hopper (1), an exhaust chimney (2) fixed to said hopper or connected thereto by a supply conduit (3), a motor unit (4) rotatably driving a shaft (5) which is substentially disposed in the direction of the exhaust chimney and at least one deflector member (8) which is mounted downstream of the output orifice(s) (6, 7) of the exhaust chimney and is pivotable about sail shaft (5) in such a way that it angularly moves away therefrom due to a centrifugal force when said shaft (5) rotates. The shaft (5) is embodied in such a way that it is hollow and shaped in the form of a tube whose internal diameter is sufficient for passing a functional device (9) therethrough.

    摘要: For extracting a liquid (such as oil) from a porous medium, the liquid is subjected to pulses that propagate through the liquid flowing through the pores of the medium. The pulses cause momentary surges in the velocity of the liquid, which keeps the pores open. The pulses can be generated in the production well, or in a separate excitation well. If the pulses travel with the liquid, the velocity of travel of the liquid through the pores can be increased. The solid matrix is kept stationary, and the pulses move through the liquid. The pulses in the liquid can be generated directly in the liquid, or indirectly in the liquid via a localized area of the solid matrix.
