摘要: A method for bonding composite substrates includes coupling a first co-cure prepreg layer having a first off-set amine to epoxide molar ratio onto a surface of a first composite substrate and coupling a second co-cure prepreg layer having a second off-set amine to epoxide molar ratio onto a surface of a second composite substrate. The first and second composite substrates are cured to the first and second co-cure prepreg layers, respectively, using a first cure cycle (including B-stage and cure temperatures) to form a first and a second co-cure prepreg layer portion. The method further includes coupling the first co-cure prepreg layer portion to the second co-cure prepreg layer portion and applying a second cure cycle to cure the first co-cure prepreg layer portion of the first composite substrate to the second co-cure prepreg layer portion of the second composite substrate to form a monolithic covalently bonded composite structure.

摘要: A bulletproof panel includes: (i) a ceramic plate A; (ii) at least one phenol resin impregnated aramid fabric laminate C having phenol resin impregnated aramid fabrics C1, C2 and C3 which are laminated thereon; and (iii) an epoxy resin impregnated fabric B disposed between the ceramic plate A and the phenol resin impregnated aramid fabric laminate C, and impregnated with an epoxy resin. The phenol resin impregnated aramid fabrics C1, C2 and C3 may be aramid fabrics impregnated with a phenol resin, and aramid fabrics impregnated with a phenol/polyvinyl butyral mixture resin. The ceramic plate A and the phenol resin impregnated aramid fabric laminate C are not delaminated from each other even under a high-temperature environment, and thereby greatly enhancing the bulletproof performance.

摘要: The instant invention provides a linear low density polyethylene composition suitable for cast film, films made therefrom, and packaging devices comprising one or more such film layers. The linear low density polyethylene composition suitable for cast film according to the present invention comprises an ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer composition having a Comonomer Distribution Constant (CDC) in the range of from 40 to 200, for example from 40 to 150, a vinyl unsaturation of less than 0.12 vinyls per one thousand carbon atoms present in the backbone of the ethylene-based polymer composition; a zero shear viscosity ratio (ZSVR) in the range from 1.2 to 5, for example from 1.5 to 4; a density in the range of from 0.910 to 0.935, for example from 0.915 to 0.925, g/cm3, a melt index (I2) in a range of from 1 to 10, for example from 2 to 6 g/10 minutes, a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) in the range of from 2 to 3.5.

摘要: An industrial mat that has a support core configured and arranged to support other components of the mat; and upper and lower layers that provide upper and lower surfaces of the mat and that protect the support core. The support core includes a frame of longitudinal side members, end members and cross members each of which is made of steel or a thermosetting plastic material. The frame can include wood, plastic or elastomeric internal members or materials to fill internal open areas of the frame, with the upper and lower layers and the sides and ends of the frame retaining the internal members or materials therein. The mat preferably includes lifting elements of D-shaped rings, O-shaped rings, chains, or cables attached to the upper or lower layer or the support core to provide certified overhead lifting of the mat for installation and reclamation thereof.

摘要: An engineered plank material and a method for making the plank material are disclosed. The plank material includes a veneer that is made out of plant material, and includes a nonwoven fabric or fiberglass mesh adhered to an inward-facing portion of the veneer. The plank material includes an adhesive paper material including macromolecular glue, which is between the veneer and a third layer of the plank material, which is constructed from one of bamboo, wood, or paper. The plank material then includes a fourth layer which is an adhesive paper material including a micromolecular glue. These layers are compressed together at a high heat and a high pressure in order to form the plank material.
