The magnesium aluminosilicate clay has a characteristic 29Si NMR spectrum. The magnesium aluminosilicate clay is the product of a series of specific reaction steps. The resulting magnesium aluminosilicate clay combines high surface area and activity for use in hydrocracking catalysts and processes.

摘要： Oxidative dehydrogenation of paraffins to olefins provides a lower energy route to produce olefins. Oxidative dehydrogenation processes may be integrated with a number of processes in a chemical plant such as polymerization processes, manufacture of glycols, and carboxylic acids and esters. Additionally, oxidative dehydrogenation processes can be integrated with the back end separation process of a conventional steam cracker to increase capacity at reduced cost.

摘要： An improved process for preparing a slurry catalyst for the upgrade of heavy oil feedstock is provided. The process employs a polar aprotic solvent to mix with the inorganic metal precursor feed to form an oil-dispersible inorganic metal precursor, at a weight ratio of solvent to inorganic metal precursor of 1:1 to 10:1; the oil-dispersible inorganic metal precursor is subsequently sulfided forming the slurry catalyst. In one embodiment, the sulfiding is in-situ upon mixing the oil-dispersible inorganic metal precursor with a hydrocarbon diluent containing a heavy oil feedstock under in-situ sulfiding conditions.

摘要： A hydrodeoxygenation catalyst comprises a metal catalyst, an acid promoter, and a support. The metal catalyst is selected from platinum, palladium, ruthenium, rhenium rhodium, osmium, iridium, nickel, cobalt, molybdenum, copper, tin, or mixtures thereof. The support is a promoted-zirconium material including texture promoters and acid promoters. The hydrodeoxygenation catalyst may be used for hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of sugar or sugar alcohol in an aqueous solution. In one embodiment the HDO catalyst may be used for HDO of fatty acids such as fatty acid methyl esters (FAME), triglycerols (in plant oil and animal fat), pyrolysis oil, or lignin. The hydrodeoxygenation catalyst for fatty acid process does not require the use of an acid promoter, it is optional.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process of formulating and preparing supported multi-metal catalysts based on metal oxides and inorganic salts of metals. The impregnation technique is employed by two methods: the slurry method and the modified-pH variation method, which are used in two steps for obtaining the catalyst. The present invention also relates to a process called Glycerol to Propene (GTP) process, corresponding to the transformation of glycerol or glycerin to propene. The reaction involved in the process of the present invention is the selective hydrogenation of glycerin, which takes place by contact of the charge of glycerin carried by hydrogen in a continuous stream system on the catalytic bed containing multi-metal catalysts, specifically prepared for this purpose.
