摘要: A machine may comprise a security monitoring system and an engine start/stop system (ESS) where the security monitoring system is configured to detect an object proximate to the machine and classify characteristics of the object and the ESS is configured to turn on an engine of the machine based at least in part on the characteristics of the object. The machine may further comprise a battery to supply power for operation of the security monitoring system and a charging system to charge the battery while the engine is turned on. The ESS may monitor a charge level of the battery, determine whether the charge level is below a preselected threshold start level, and in response to determining that the charge level is below the preselected threshold start level, turn on the engine based at least in part on the characteristics of the object.

摘要: Aspects provided herein provide methods, apparatus, and a non-transitory computer storage medium storing computer instructions for vehicle disturbance alerting in a network. The method begins with receiving a vibration alert from a sensor installed in a vehicle. The sensor may be an accelerometer, gyroscope, or motion-capable sensor and is in communication with a low power radar sensor that is also installed in the vehicle. A low power radar sensor is activated in response to the vibration alert. At least one radar signature is received from the low power radar sensor. The radar signature is then compared with at least one driver radar signature. The driver radar signature is recorded when a driver occupies a driver seat position and operates the vehicle. Based on the comparison, a determination is made whether to issue a vehicle disturbance alert.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a sensor disposed at a vehicle and having a field of sensing exterior of the vehicle. The sensor captures sensor data. Electronic circuitry of an electronic control unit (ECU) includes a processor for processing sensor data captured by the sensor. Responsive to the vehicle being parked, captured sensor data is processed at the ECU to determine a topography of the environment at the parked vehicle. The ECU, responsive to determining the topography at the parked vehicle determines presence of a hazard of the topography. The ECU, responsive to determining presence of the hazard, notifies an occupant of the vehicle of the hazard prior to the occupant exiting the parked vehicle.

摘要: A device, system, and method for an electronic response to a potential carjacking is provided. A device receives: a location and vehicle ignition status of a vehicle; and sensor data generated by one or more sensors that are onboard the vehicle, the sensor data different from the location and the vehicle ignition status. The device determines whether the location of the vehicle is associated with a carjacking type of location, and whether a combination of the vehicle ignition status and the sensor data meet a carjacking threshold condition. When both the location of the vehicle is associated with the carjacking type of location and the carjacking threshold condition is met, the device: outputs an alert at the vehicle indicative of, or associated with, the potential carjacking; and/or causes, a notification to be transmitted to a communication device associated with a public safety agency or a monitoring service.

摘要: An enhanced validation mode for a vehicle is provided. Presence of a primary access device is identified, using a radio frequency (RF) transceiver of the vehicle. Responsive to the vehicle being in the enhanced validation mode, aspects of a secondary access device are validated with an access list descriptive of which secondary access devices are allowable for use in confirming a user is authorized, in addition to utilizing the primary access device to validate access to the vehicle, the secondary access device being a physical credential issued to a user to grant the user access to a physical location. Responsive to the vehicle not being in the enhanced validation mode, the primary access device but not the secondary access device are utilized to validate access to the vehicle.

摘要: Methods and systems for communicating between autonomous vehicles are described herein. Such communication may be performed for signaling, collision avoidance, path coordination, and/or autonomous control. A computing device may receive data for the same road segment from autonomous vehicles, including (i) an indication of a location within the road segment, and (ii) an indication of a condition of the road segment. The computing device may generate, from the data for the same road segment, an overall indication of the condition of the road segment, which may include a recommendation to vehicles approaching the road segment. Additionally, the computing device may receive a request from a computing device within a vehicle approaching the road segment to display vehicle data. The overall indication for the road segment may then be displayed on a user interface of the computing device.
