摘要: A system for providing therapy to a tissue site is described. The system can include a light sensor, a motion sensor, and a controller. The controller can be communicatively coupled to the source of negative pressure, the light sensor, and the motion sensor. In some embodiments, the controller can be configured to receive a first signal from the light sensor indicative of ambient light, receive a second signal from the motion sensor indicative of activity, and activate alert based on the first signal and the second signal.

摘要: A predictive method may include determining the strength of a relationship between a user's health state and the user's consumption of media content having one or more features, based on health data and media consumption data corresponding to user consumption of media content items having the feature(s), and predicting an effect of consuming a media content item on the user's health. The prediction may be based on a determination that the strength of the relationship between the health state and the consumption of media content having the one or more features exceeds a threshold strength. A diagnostic method may include determining whether a media consumption signature associated with a health condition matches media consumption data for a population, and diagnosing the population with the health condition based on a determination that the media consumption signature associated with the health condition matches the media consumption data for the population.

摘要: Methods and systems for monitoring metabolic parameters of humans and other animals in an enclosed or semi-enclosed space such as a room. In these embodiments, metabolic parameters like basal metabolic rate, energy expenditure, and body composition are derived from environmental measurements of carbon dioxide (CO2) production using context-aware processing algorithms. This information can be integrated in innovative coaching programs for weight management, fitness improvement, pregnancy management, and chronic disease management.

摘要: At least one microneedle comprises a hydrogel material that includes a substance that fluoresces when the substance interacts with an analyte. A magnitude of the fluorescence varies as a function of the concentration of the analyte. During use, the hydrogel material is illuminated with illumination light in a first wavelength range while the hydrogel material interfaces with the dermal interstitial fluid layer of a subject, and a photosensor generates an output that corresponds to an amount of light received in a second wavelength range.

摘要: A method includes receiving location data of a monitoring device when carried by a user and receiving motion data of the monitoring device. The motion data is associated with a time of occurrence and the location data. The method includes processing the received motion data to identify a group of the motion data having a substantially common characteristic and processing the location data for the group of the motion data. The group of motion data by way of processing the location data provides an activity identifier. The motion data includes metric data that identifies characteristics of the motion data. The method includes transferring the activity identifier and the characteristics of the motion data to a screen of a device for display. The activity identifier being a graphical user interface that receives an input for rendering more or less of the characteristics of the motion data.

摘要: A stimulation system for treating a condition (e.g., dry eye, Meibomian gland disease) of a subject includes a stimulator configured to deliver a stimulus to external facial tissue of the subject, at least one sensor configured to detect a characteristic of the subject, and a control system in communication with the sensor and configured to adjust the stimulus at least partially based on the detected subject characteristic. In some variations, the control system may be configured to adjust the stimulus at least partially based on a detected environmental condition. The stimulator may be configured to activate a nerve of the subject, thereby increasing tear production. The stimulation system may, for example, include a device configured to be worn by a subject such as eyeglasses or a mask, or held by a subject such as handheld stimulator device.
