摘要: The present invention is directed to unique processes, catalysts and systems for the direct production of liquid fuels (e.g., premium diesel fuel) from synthesis gas produced from natural feedstocks such as natural gas, natural gas liquids, carbon dioxide or other similar compounds or materials. In one aspect, the present invention provides a process for the production of a hydrocarbon mixture comprising the steps of: a) reducing a catalyst in-situ in a fixed bed reactor; b) reacting a feed gas that contains hydrogen and carbon monoxide with the catalyst to produce a hydrocarbon product stream, wherein the hydrocarbon product stream comprises light gases, a diesel fuel and a wax, and wherein the diesel fuel fraction is produced without requiring the hydroprocessing of wax, and wherein the catalyst comprises one or more metals deposited on a gamma alumina support at greater than about 5 weight percent, and wherein platinum or rhenium is included on the support in an amount ranging from about 0.01 weight percent and about 2 weight percent as a promoter, and wherein the catalyst has surface pore diameters between about 100 and 150 Angstroms, sub-surface pore diameters between 10 and 30 Angstroms a crush strength greater than about 3 lbs./mm, a mean effective pellet radius less than about 600 microns, and a BET surface area greater than about 100 m2/g, and wherein the diesel fuel comprises more than about 70 percent C8-C24 hydrocarbons.

摘要: The present invention provides a catalyst carrier with shift and adsorption purification performance, comprising modified bauxite in the raw material components which fluxing and pore forming effects. Most iron oxide contained in the bauxite is removed after modification, so that there are a large amount of highly active aluminosilicate compounds in the modified bauxite. When preparing the catalyst, the aluminosilicate compound serves as a low melting point flux and can significantly increase the migration rate of magnesium and aluminum ions during the calcinating process and promote the generation of MgAl2O4 at low temperatures, thereby the catalyst carrier of the present invention has strong anti-hydration capacity and mechanical strength. In addition, when the modified bauxite is used as macroporous hard template for the preparation of the catalyst, macro pores can be formed in the structure of the catalyst carrier after calcinating treatment, so that the catalyst carrier of the present invention has strong adsorption purification ability on macromolecular particles including oil pollution and dust

摘要: The invention relates to a method for preparing polyglycerol, comprising —providing a catalyst salt on a support, the catalyst salt having catalytic activity with respect to an etherification reaction of a polyol selected from the group of glycerol and oligoglycerols, —contacting the catalyst salt on the support with a fluid phase comprising a polyol selected from the group of glycerol and oligoglycerols, —and subjecting the polyol in the fluid phase to an etherification reaction in the presence of the catalyst salt, thereby forming the polyglycerol.

摘要: A catalyst system for a liquid phase carbonylation reaction comprising a homogeneous acid catalyst component and a porous solid component, in particular for use in the formation of glycolic acid by carbonylation of formaldehyde. The homogeneous acid catalyst component is, for instance, sulphuric acid whilst the solid component can be unfunctionalised silica. A process for the carbonylation of an aldehyde to form a carboxylic′ acid or derivative thereof is also described. The process comprises the steps of contacting the catalyst with carbon monoxide, water and the aldehyde.

摘要: A method of preparing a hydrogenation catalyst, for example, a phthalate hydrogenation catalyst, comprising contacting a silica support having a median pore size of at least about 10 nm with a silylating agent to form an at least partially coated silica support, calcining said coated silica support to form a treated silica support, and depositing a noble metal, preferably ruthenium, on the treated silica support, and optionally contacting the treated silica support with an optional chelating agent to form the hydrogenation catalyst; a hydrogenation catalyst prepared by that method; and a method of hydrogenating unsaturated hydrocarbons, such as phthalates, in which an unsaturated hydrocarbon is contacted with hydrogen gas in the presence of the hydrogenation catalyst of the invention.
