摘要: It has been discovered that iron-platinum magnetic particles can be dispersed in a polymer and coated into or onto, or directly linked to, polymeric materials, especially hydrogels, and magnetized. The magnetized materials are used to attract, capture, and/or retain magnetically labeled cells in the material in vivo. The magnetic particles have an iron/platinum core. Annealing the Fe:Pt is very important for introducing a crystal structure LIO interior crystalline phase. The Fe:Pt molar ratio for creation of the crystal phase is important and a molar range of 1.2-3.0 Fe to Pt (molar precursors, i.e starting compounds) is desired for magnetization. The magnetic force as a whole can be measured with a “Super Conducting Quantum Interference Scaffold”, which is a sensitive magnetometer. The overall magnetic force is in the range from 0.1 to 2.0 Tesla.

摘要: The present invention relates to a carrier for growth factor related to regeneration of bone tissues that is capable of arbitrarily controlling the delivery rate of growth factors related to bone regeneration and thus especially applicable to a bone void filler in the fields of the dental or orthopedic applications.The carrier for controlling the delivery rate of the growth factor in the present invention is composed of a hyaluronic acid hydrogel having a distribution of interconnected pores and a calcium phosphate microsphere being distributed in the pores of the hyaluronic acid hydrogel. The calcium phosphate microsphere having a porosity suitable for delivery of the growth factor is positioned into the pores of the cross-linked hyaluronic acid hydrogel to complete the carrier.

摘要: A microporous gel system for certain applications, including biomedical applications, includes an aqueous solution containing plurality of microgel particles including a biodegradable crosslinker. In some aspects, the microgel particles act as gel building blocks that anneal to one another to form a covalently-stabilized scaffold of microgel particles having interstitial spaces therein. In certain aspects, annealing of the microgel particles occurs after exposure to an annealing agent that is endogenously present or exogenously added. In some embodiments, annealing of the microgel particles requires the presence of an initiator such as exposure to light. In particular embodiments, the chemical and physical properties of the gel building blocks can be controlled to allow downstream control of the resulting assembled scaffold. In one or more embodiments, cells are able to quickly infiltrate the interstitial spaces of the assembled scaffold.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method of positioning a medical device in a patient. The method includes coating a balloon with a substance, wherein the coating substance comprises at least one layer comprised at least partially of a medicinal agent and a polymer, inserting the deflated balloon into a cardiac system of the patient, placing the balloon in the proper location in the cardiac system of the patient, and inflating the balloon by injecting a sterile liquid from a syringe into the balloon. The method also includes positioning the substance proximate the tissue of the cardiac system of the patient, wherein the cardiovascular drug medicinal agent comprising the substance is drug eluting.
