摘要: A device for purifying the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The device has a particulate filter arranged in the exhaust system on which the trapped particulates are oxidized, and a reversing mechanism for reversing the exhaust gas upstream side and the exhaust gas downstream side of the particulate filter. The particulate filter has a trapping wall. The trapping wall has a first trapping surface and a second trapping surface. The reversing mechanism reverses the exhaust gas upstream side and the exhaust gas downstream side of the particulate filter so that the first trapping surface and the second trapping surface are used alternately to trap the particulates. The device can improve the amount of particulates that can be oxidized and removed on the particulate filter.

摘要: A catalyst warming apparatus for an internal combustion engine provides an appropriate combustible mixture for heating an exhaust-purifying catalyst disposed in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine, without providing a special pre-mixing chamber for mixing fuel and air, by burning the combustible mixture in the exhaust passage upstream of the exhaust-purifying catalyst when the exhaust-purifying catalyst is inactive. Specifically, fuel components and air discharged from the internal combustion engine are mixed into a combustible mixture in a sub exhaust-purifying catalyst disposed in the exhaust passage upstream of a main exhaust-purifying catalyst, and the resultant combustible mixture is burned upstream of the main exhaust-purifying catalyst.

摘要: According to this invention, a digital key telephone system connected to an analog public network NW having a function of transmitting a ringing signal including identification information of a calling line through a subscriber line (CO line), accommodating a plurality of extension lines each connected to a digital key telephone (DKT) 2 or a standard telephone (STT) 4 as an extension terminal, and having a function of switching and connecting the subscriber line to the plurality of extension lines or the extension lines to each other includes a called party storage means storing, in advance, information representing the correlation between the calling line and the extension terminals 2 and 4 as a called terminal. When a ringing signal arrives from the analog communication network NW, calling line identification information (caller ID) contained in the ringing signal is detected by a calling line identification information interface unit (RCIU) 12. A control unit (RCTU) 16 determines the called extension terminal on the basis of the detected caller ID and the information stored in the storage means, so the extension terminal receives the call from the digital key telephone interface unit (RDKU) 13 or a standard telephone interface unit (RSTU) 15.

Only the inner wall surface of downstream end open cells (61d) of the particulate filter (18) is covered with a NOx adsorbent (62a), and the inner wall surface of the upstream end open cells (61u) is covered with a HC adsorbent (63a). The particulates in the exhaust gas are trapped in the HC adsorbent (63a) or the cell walls (60) of the particulate filter (18) and prevented from reaching the NOx adsorbent (62a). When the catalyst temperature is low, NOx in the in flowing exhaust gas is adsorbed in the NOx adsorbent (62a), and hydrocarbon (HC) is adsorbed in the HC adsorbent (63a). With the increase in the catalyst temperature, the adsorbed NOx is desorbed from the NOx adsorbent (62a), and the adsorbed HC is desorbed from the HC adsorbent (63a). This HC reduces the NOx desorbed from the NOx adsorbent (62a).

摘要: In an exhaust gas purifier for an internal combustion engine having a trap for trapping particulate matters contained in exhaust gas discharged from the internal combustion engine, the present invention aims at suppressing production of ashes and thereby preventing pressure loss associated with the clogging of the trap. In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides an exhaust gas purifier for an internal combustion engine having a trap for trapping particulate matters contained in exhaust gas discharged from the internal combustion engine, wherein the trap carries a metal which has an electronegativity equal to or lower than a predetermined content contained in fuel or lubricating oil for the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A heat-active adhesive for a connecting circuit which is used for electrically connecting circuit electrodes facing each other in the pressing direction by heating and pressing the electrodes. The adhesive has an elastic modulus of 100-2,000 MPa at 40° C. after adhesion. The adhesive can contain at least an epoxy resin, acrylic rubber, and a latent curing agent. An acrylic rubber having a glycidryl ether group as a molecule is preferably used as the acrylic rubber.

摘要: An image forming apparatus according to the present invention comprises a photoconductor drum rotatable around a drum shaft, an exposure unit for forming an image on the drum, a developing unit for supplying a developing agent to the image formed by the exposure unit, thereby forming a developing agent image, a transfer belt for transferring the developing agent image formed by the developing unit to paper, a drive motor having a drive shaft mounted with a coupling into which the distal end portion of the drum shaft is inserted such that the drive shaft and the drum shaft are coaxially connected to each other by means of the coupling, and a plurality of split pieces formed on the drum shaft and/or the coupling and adapted to be elastically deformed in a direction such that the split pieces contract or expand when the drum shaft is inserted into the coupling.
