Abstract: In one aspect of the present invention, subminiature fuses are soldered to a PCB via clips attached to the fuse end caps. The clips are physically attached to the PCB pads, enabling the fuse to be replaced if needed and providing thermal decoupling between the fuse and the heating sinking solder/PCB pads. The fuse and clips can also be picked and placed in one operation. In another aspect, improved fuse clips are provided that include tabs that separate the housing portions of the clips from the heating sinking solder/PCB pads. Such improved clips further enhance thermal decoupling. In a further aspect, an improved fuse is provided, in which the thermal decoupling tabs just described are provided directly with the fuse. In yet a further aspect, a thermally insulative fuse body is provided to further decouple the fuse element from its surroundings.

Abstract: In a probe card assembly, a series of probe elements can be arrayed on a silicon space transformer. The silicon space transformer can be fabricated with an array of primary contacts in a very tight pitch, comparable to the pitch of a semiconductor device. One preferred primary contact is a resilient spring contact. Conductive elements in the space transformer are routed to second contacts at a more relaxed pitch. In one preferred embodiment, the second contacts are suitable for directly attaching a ribbon cable, which in turn can be connected to provide selective connection to each primary contact. The silicon space transformer is mounted in a fixture that provides for resilient connection to a wafer or device to be tested. This fixture can be adjusted to planarize the primary contacts with the plane of a support probe card board.

Abstract: A battery pack that prevents a solder material from flowing down due to a tab electrically connecting a battery to a protective circuit board, thereby improving reliability, coupling efficiency, safety, and productivity is disclosed. Abstract: A vehicle light assembly includes a casing with a plurality of frames connected thereto and each frame has a hole for receiving a light bulb of a Light Emitting Diode therein. Each Light Emitting Diode includes two legs and two protrusions extend from the two legs respectively. The legs of the Light Emitting Diodes are connected to a circuit board by a section from a distill end of each leg to the protrusion. The light bulbs are then bent toward a side of the circuit board and engaged with the holes of the frames. The side of the circuit board is shaped to cooperate with the positions of the frames.

Abstract: In a probe card assembly, a series of probe elements can be arrayed on a silicon space transformer. Abstract: A chip package structure including a circuit board, a solder mask, and a chip package is provided. The circuit board has at least one contact on its surface. The solder mask covers the circuit board and has at least one first opening for exposing the contact. The chip package is disposed on the circuit board, and includes a chip and a leadframe, which has at least one lead that is electrically connected to the chip. The lead has an insertion portion that corresponds to the contact and inserts into the first opening. A solder bump is filled into the first opening and fastened to the insertion portion, thereby the connection between the lead and the contact of the chip package structure is secured.
