摘要: A system designed for increasing network communication speed for users, while lowering network congestion for content owners and ISPs. The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The IP address of the server in the communication request is transmitted to the acceleration server, which provides a list of agents to use for this IP address. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid). The client then downloads the data from these peers in parts and in parallel, thereby speeding up the Web transfer, releasing congestion from the Web by fetching the information from multiple sources, and relieving traffic from Web servers by offloading the data transfers from them to nearby peers.

摘要: There is provided the apparatus comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory comprising computer code that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the apparatus to: identify a potential problem in a network comprising at least one network automation function; signal an indication of said potential problem to at least one network automation function of said network and a request for a proposal to address said problem; receive at least one proposal in response to said signalling; determine policy changes for addressing said potential problem in dependence on said at least one proposal; and implement said policy changes.

摘要: A building management system with artificial intelligence based control of a building includes data collectors are configured to receive data and generate data streams for subsystems of the building. The system includes a learning engine configured to identify a building state of the building by correlating data of the data streams for the subsystems and provide the identified building state to cognitive agents. The system includes the cognitive agents, each of the cognitive agents configured to receive the identified building state from the learning engine, generate a control decision based on the received building state, and operate at least one of the plurality of subsystems of the building to control a physical condition of the building based on the control decision.

摘要: A software upgrade to be deployed by a cloud extension agent is received by a remote network management platform, the cloud extension agent running locally on a network and initiating an outbound connection to the remote network management platform through a firewall of the network. A command is generated for the software upgrade, the command comprising an identification of a source of the software upgrade. The command is provided to the cloud extension agent, wherein providing the command causes the cloud extension agent to acquire the software upgrade from the identified source and deploy the software upgrade.

摘要: Technologies for switching network traffic include a network switch. The network switch includes one or more processors and communication circuitry coupled to the one or more processors. The communication circuity is capable of switching network traffic of multiple link layer protocols. Additionally, the network switch includes one or more memory devices storing instructions that, when executed, cause the network switch to receive, with the communication circuitry through an optical connection, network traffic to be forwarded, and determine a link layer protocol of the received network traffic. The instructions additionally cause the network switch to forward the network traffic as a function of the determined link layer protocol. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

摘要: A system for managing a core network is provided. The system includes a first computing device including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device. The first computing device is in communication with a core network. The at least one memory device stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor cause the at least one processor to store a plurality of historical data associated with the core network, receive current state data from the core network, compare the plurality of historical data with the current state data to determine at least one future state of the core network, and adjust the operation of the core network based on the at least one future state.

摘要: A visibility platform can be used to monitor traffic traversing private cloud infrastructures and/or public cloud infrastructures. In some instances, the traffic is provided to a set of network services that are accessible to the visibility platform. These network services can be provisioned in a serial or parallel fashion. Network service chaining can be used to ensure that traffic streams skip unnecessary network services and receive only those network services that are needed. For example, an email service chain can include virus, spam, and phishing detection, while a video streaming service chain can include traffic shaping policies to satisfy quality of service (QoS) guarantees. When the visibility platform is represented as a graph that makes use of action sets, network service chains can be readily created or destroyed on demand.
